Jeris Marilyn Sando was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on April 4th, 1936. She grew up in Minneapolis, attending Washburn High School and working for International Mining.
Jeri first fell in love with Colorado as a young girl visiting the state with her grandparents. Later, a student at the University of Colorado, she met her future husband, Ron, and knew CO would be her home.
A homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother, Jeri took great pride in her Littleton home of 55 years. She tended to her home, yard and gardens with loving care. Many happy family memories are shared by her children, grandchildren and friends sitting at the beautiful dining room table and in the lovely back yard.
Jeri was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta at CU and later the Junior League of Denver. She made many life-long friends through her involvements there. She was also a member of the Friends of the Littleton Library. She and Ron loved the symphony, ballet and opera, baseball games on summer nights and winter days on the CO ski slopes. They traveled extensively. Jeri enjoyed time at Cherry Hills Country Club as a member of the women’s 18-hole group.
She will be missed by her family and many friends she made along the way. She is survived by her brothers: Tom (Lois) Sando and Bill (Jeanne) Sando, her 3 children: Mike (Chris) Losier, Katy (Troy) Clair, Gail (Scott) Lasater, her 9 grandchildren: Andy Losier, Nick (Jess) Losier, Brooke (Doug) Lestikow, Shaun (Nicole) Clair, Matt (Natalie) Clair, Gail (Justin) Chow, Lauren (Nate) Blehm, Jake Lasater, Kelly (Eze) Anyanwu, and her 15 great grandchildren: Bella Clair, Reagan Blehm, Lilly Clair, Otto Clair, Lucy Losier, Kinli Clair, Ollie Losier, Nola Clair, Aven Clair, Brooklee Clair, Simon Lestikow, Annie Lestikow, Astrid Chow, Logan Chow, Russell Chow.
